Polaris FHIR Policy

Canonical stability is part of the contract, not decoration.

Polaris FHIR treats canonical URLs, package distribution, and authoritative guide references as trust-bearing integration surfaces. This page states the operating principles behind that stance.

1. Canonical URLs identify guide artifacts.

Public presentation layers may evolve. Canonical URLs continue to identify the guide artifacts themselves and should remain stable across presentation changes.

2. Canonical docs remain authoritative on fhir.cognovis.de.

Polaris FHIR gives context, install paths, and orientation. The authoritative guide pages remain on fhir.cognovis.de.

3. Package distribution is centralized through npm.cognovis.de.

Registry consistency matters for build reproducibility, release discipline, and partner trust. Polaris FHIR therefore points package consumers to npm.cognovis.de.

4. The hub should not duplicate the guide body.

Polaris FHIR is a technical front door. It should summarize and route, not fork the authoritative content into a second documentation tree.
